In the Spring of 2015, former National Guard Sergeant Daniel Busekist was looking for a way to help aid veterans in their pursuit of long-term happiness post service or war. Since golf is his life passion, Clubs Fore Veterans was created during an afternoon chat with his family.
His mission is simple: collect used clubs, refurbish them into complete sets, then distribute them to veterans who are interested in the wonderful world of golf. Any veteran or an immediate family member can get a used set of golf clubs at no charge. Based in Ellicottville, NY, all club hand-offs are completed at the Double Black Diamond at Holiday Valley Driving Range.
